I certainly hope this is the beginning of a return to sanity about the need for a manufacturing/industrial base for the economy. As an aside, I am amazed that there has been so little attention given to Whirlpool cutting thousands of jobs in the U.S., closing its manufacturing facility in the U.S. moving to Mexico while LG and Samsung continue to "Dump" their applicances in the U.S. What efforts have been made by the government to support Whirlpool jobs in the U.S.? NONE, that I know of! Why NOT?
